American Concrete Institute Spring Concrete Convention and Exposition

The Concrete Convention and Exposition is coming to Québec City, QC, Canada this spring! All convention events will take place at the Québec City Convention Centre and Hilton Québec.

The ACI hotel blocks at the Hilton Québec and the Delta Québec are now open, reserve your room today before it’s too late. The ACI room block is expected to sell out early.

Registration fees cover the cost of meeting room rental, audio visual equipment, coffee breaks, cyber café and wireless hotspot equipment and fees, signs, transportation between venues, pre-convention and on-site materials, registration staff, and materials.

GUEST REGISTRATION

To process a guest registration, ACI must receive the registration form of the convention attendee along with the guest registration. The guest registration fee includes Guest Hospitality Sunday through Wednesday and attendance at the Opening Reception, Guest Social, Concrete Mixer, and President’s Reception. Guest Registration does NOT include attendance to any of the technical sessions or committee meetings.

STUDENT REGISTRATION

Attention Students! To qualify for the student rate, you must be a current ACI student member. All students who are not current members of ACI will need to apply for FREE student membership using the link below.

STUDENT LUNCH

The Student Lunch is free to students who pre-register by February 17, 2019. You must pre-register for the lunch separately to receive a ticket.

YOUNG PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION

Young Professionals with less than 8 years of industry experience can submit an application to win FREE convention registration ($699 value). This contest is sponsored by the Women in ACI and is open to men and women. Winners will be responsible for all travel expenses including food, hotel, and transportation. Click here to apply for this award.

SPECIAL EVENTS

You must be a registered attendee to purchase special event tickets (one ticket per attendee or guest). Special events are expected to sell out, so pre-register to ensure a spot for these events. Tickets will be available for purchase on-site, based on availability.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Carole Berrelez at carole.berrelez@concrete.org. You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund through February 17, 2019. After February 17, there will be a $100 service charge for attendee cancellations and a $10 service charge for guest registration cancellations. No refunds will be given for convention registration or special events after 3/22/19. Tour tickets are nonrefundable at any time after registration has been processed.

NAME BADGES

Only registered attendees with name badges will be permitted to attend ACI functions.

RESPONSIBLE DRINKING POLICY

Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 18. All ACI-sponsored receptions will offer nonalcoholic beer and soft drinks.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA)

ACI conventions are ADA-compliant. Individuals requiring special assistance must contact ACI Event Services for further information. All requests for special accommodations under ADA are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be made allowing enough time for evaluation and appropriate action by ACI.

PHOTOGRAPHS/VIDEO

ACI will take photographs and video during The Concrete Convention and reproduce them in ACI educational, news, or promotional material—whether in print, electronic, or other media—including the ACI Web site. By participating in the ACI Concrete Convention, you grant ACI the right to use your name, photograph, and biography for such purposes.
